Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I have a NEW course: How to Make Hand Embroidery Christmas Cards live on Udemy. This is the main reason, why I have published nothing new for so long.
You may ask: “Why embroidery on paper?” Well, I have been learning different embroidery techniques for some time now and I have decided to try also on paper. Paper has some limitations and that is what has pushed my creativity even further. There were several trials and errors along the way, that’s why I have decided to create a course and help other enthusiasts to have a quicker start.
WHERE you can find it?
You can find my new course here: https://www.udemy.com/course/how-to-make-hand-embroidery-christmas-cards/
WHAT will you learn?
This class is suitable for any level – for beginners that rarely hold needles in their hands or more experienced crafters that are looking for fresh creative ideas and techniques. In this class, I will show you several embroidery stitches that can be used on paper. Designs in this class are specifically applied to Christmas and New Year designs, so you will get several ideas for creating different types of cards for the holiday season to send to your family and friends.
What supplies are needed
For this class you will need:
- any thread that you already have in your stash
- a needle that has a big enough eye for your thread to go through
- scissors
- masking tape/washi tape
- paper 220 grams or higher
That’s it. You can add a pinch of curiosity and some free time and you can start.
